Native plant rescue opportunity with the South Carolina Native Plant Society. Come and rescue native plants before construction starts for the expansion of highways I-20 and I-26.

About the event
Paw paws, lizard's tail, beauty berries, hearts-a-bustin, devil's walking stick, Spiranthes cernua (orchid) and other natives reside in the muddy shade, (careful of the poison ivy).
We will meet in the main parking lot at Saluda Riverwalk on Candi Lane at 10:00 on Sunday, October 24th.
Volunteers are advised to wear lightweight long sleeves, pants, and work gloves.
Please bring pots, plastic bags, shovel(s), and water to drink.
You are free to take these plants home with you or donate them.
